Privacy Policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Heat Hunters, LLC ("Heat Hunters", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit heat-hunters.com, contact us, respond to our advertising, or use our insulation and related services.

Heat Hunters, LLC is located at 7610 Industrial Lane #9, Tampa, FL 33637. You can reach us at (727) 273-7826 or [email protected].

2. Scope

This policy applies to information we collect through our website, forms, phone calls, text messages, emails, social media pages, advertising, inspections and jobs. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to, which have their own privacy policies.

3. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, property address or zip code, property type, the service you're interested in, preferred appointment times, messages you send us, and any details you share about your home or building. If you apply for a job, we also collect the information you choose to share about your experience.
  • Information from your property. During an inspection or job we may take photos and measurements, and record test results such as blower door readings, insulation depth, moisture and temperature readings, and notes about the condition of the property.
  • Information collected automatically. When you use our website we and our service providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring website, approximate location, and how you got to us (for example, an ad click, including identifiers such as gclid or fbclid and UTM tags).
  • Information from third parties. We may receive information from advertising and social media platforms (such as Google and Meta), review sites, lead providers, and partners when you interact with our ads or ask them to pass your details to us.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or health information through our website, and we ask that you don't send it to us.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, call or text you back, and schedule inspections and jobs
  • To carry out inspections, prepare recommendations, quotes and invoices, and complete the work
  • To send appointment confirmations, reminders, updates and follow-ups
  • To provide customer support and handle warranty or service requests
  • To process payments and, if you choose financing, to connect you with a financing provider
  • To review job applications and contact applicants
  • To improve our website, services, training and advertising, including measuring which ads and pages work
  • To send marketing messages where you have agreed to receive them (you can opt out at any time)
  • To protect our business, staff and customers, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

5. Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, you consent to receive text messages from Heat Hunters at that number about your enquiry, appointments, quotes, jobs and service updates, and, if you agree, occasional offers. Messages may be sent using automated technology.

  • Frequency: message frequency varies depending on your enquiry and appointments.
  • Costs: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You'll receive one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (727) 273-7826 or [email protected].
  • Not a condition of purchase: consent to receive texts is not required to buy any goods or services.
  • Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver the messages.

6. Phone calls and email

By giving us your phone number you agree that we may call you about your request, including using automated dialing or pre-recorded messages where permitted by law. Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes. If we send marketing emails, each one will include an unsubscribe link, and we'll honor opt-out requests promptly. We'll still send you service messages about appointments or work you've booked.

7. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it:

  • With service providers who help us run the business, such as CRM and scheduling software, phone and text messaging providers, email, website hosting, analytics, payment processing and advertising platforms. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • With financing providers, only if you ask us to help you apply for financing.
  • With manufacturers, where needed to register or process a product warranty.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of our customers or others.
  • In a business transfer, if Heat Hunters is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case your information would remain subject to this policy.

8. Cookies, pixels and analytics

Our website uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and measure and improve our advertising. These may include tools from Google (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (such as the Meta Pixel), which may collect information about your visit and use it under their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and adjust ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

9. Photos and reviews

We may photograph your property before, during and after work to document the job and explain our findings. We will only use photos in our marketing if they don't identify you or your address, or if you've given us permission. If you leave us a public review, we may share it on our website or social media along with your first name or the name shown on the review.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide our services, honor warranties, keep proper business, tax and accounting records, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

11. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls and secure, reputable software providers. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

12. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that's wrong or out of date
  • Delete your information, subject to records we're required to keep
  • Stop sending you marketing texts, calls or emails

To make a request, email [email protected] or call (727) 273-7826. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, and we will honor them as required.

13. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated October 22, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of heat-hunters.com and to your dealings with Heat Hunters, LLC ("Heat Hunters", "we", "us" or "our"). By using our website, submitting a form or booking an inspection, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

Any work we carry out is also governed by the written proposal, contract or work order you sign. If anything in that written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement takes priority.

2. Our services

Heat Hunters provides insulation and related home and building performance services in the Tampa Bay area, including inspections, insulation removal and re-insulation, blown-in insulation, air and duct sealing, radiant barriers, mobile home insulation and commercial spray foam. The services available, and the areas we cover, may change at any time.

3. Website information

Content on this website, including articles, guides, photos, prices, savings figures and examples, is provided for general information only. It is not professional advice for your specific property and may not reflect current products, codes or conditions. Results shown on the website are examples and are not a promise of the same result for you.

4. Free inspections

  • Our inspections are free and there's no obligation to buy anything.
  • An adult who is authorized to give access to the property must be present.
  • You agree to give us safe access to the areas we need to inspect, such as the attic, crawlspace, mobile home underbelly or roof space, and to tell us about any known hazards, pets or access issues.
  • Inspections are visual and non-destructive and are limited to accessible areas. They are not a full home inspection, structural, electrical, mold or environmental assessment.
  • We may decline or stop an inspection if we believe an area is unsafe.

5. Quotes and estimates

Quotes and recommendations are only valid when given in writing after an inspection, and only for the scope, materials and time period stated on them. Prices discussed by phone, online or in advertising are estimates only. Quotes may change if the scope changes, if we find conditions that weren't visible or accessible during the inspection, or if the quote has expired.

6. Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations

We'll agree a date and time for your inspection or job with you. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Weather, safety conditions, material availability or other circumstances outside our control may require us to reschedule, and we'll let you know as soon as we can. Any cancellation rights or fees for booked work are set out in your written agreement, along with any cancellation rights you have under Florida law.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information about your property and what you want done.
  • Provide safe, clear access to work areas, and move or protect valuables, vehicles and personal items as reasonably requested.
  • Tell us about known hazards, such as damaged wiring, roof leaks, pests, mold, asbestos or vermiculite, before work begins.
  • Keep children and pets away from work areas while we're working.
  • Make sure you have authority to approve work on the property, or have the owner's permission.

8. Hidden and pre-existing conditions

Some conditions can't be seen until work begins, such as concealed damage, moisture, pest activity, wiring issues or materials that need special handling. If we find something that affects the work, we'll stop and talk to you before going further. Any additional work or cost will be agreed with you in writing. Heat Hunters is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or defects that existed before our work, or for conditions outside the agreed scope.

9. Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out in your written agreement. Invoices are due as stated on them. If we offer financing, it is provided by third-party lenders under their own terms and approval process, and Heat Hunters is not the lender.

10. Warranties

Products we install may come with manufacturer warranties, which we'll pass on to you where applicable. Any workmanship warranty from Heat Hunters applies only as stated in your written agreement. Warranties don't cover damage caused by misuse, other contractors, pests, roof or plumbing leaks, storms, or alterations made after our work.

11. Energy savings and results

Better insulation and air sealing can improve comfort and lower energy use, but results vary with your property, weather, equipment, energy prices and how the building is used. Any savings, temperature or performance figures we give are estimates and are not guaranteed.

12. Photos and documentation

You agree that we may photograph and record test results for your property to document our work, support warranty claims and explain our findings. We'll only use photos in marketing as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Communications

By submitting a form or contacting us, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text and email about your request, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.

14. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, photos, graphics, logos and videos, belongs to Heat Hunters or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and share our pages for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse our content without our written permission.

15. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, including by submitting false information, attempting to access systems or data without permission, sending spam or malicious code, or interfering with how the site works.

16. Third-party links and services

Our website may link to or use third-party services, such as Google Maps, review sites, social media and financing providers. We're not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

17. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the website will always be available, error-free or free of viruses.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heat Hunters will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid Heat Hunters for the specific services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Heat Hunters harmless from claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these Terms, or inaccurate information you give us.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If a problem comes up, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can't, any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, unless your written agreement says otherwise.

21. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written agreement for your job, are the entire agreement between us about their subject matter.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with the "last updated" date. Continuing to use the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Why remove old insulation instead of adding more on top?

Old insulation is often flattened, patchy, damp or contaminated with dust and rodent waste. Piling new material on top buries those problems and blocks access to the air leaks underneath. Removing it lets us sanitize, seal the leaks properly, then re-insulate on a clean base, so you get the full benefit of the new insulation.

What happens at the free attic inspection?

A Heat Hunters tech checks your attic, insulation and AC, takes photos of what's up there and walks you through them. You get clear options and same-day pricing. If nothing needs doing, we'll tell you.

What's a blower door and why do your installers use it?

A blower door is a powerful fan fitted into a doorway that depressurizes the house. While it runs, air rushes through every hidden crack, which makes leaks easy for our crew to find and seal. The reading drops as leaks are closed, so we know the air sealing is working.

How long does removal and re-insulation take?

It depends on the size and condition of your attic. You'll get a clear timeline with your quote, and we work around your schedule.

What types of homes do you work on?

Homes with an attic: single-family homes, townhomes, side-by-side duplexes and mobile homes. For businesses, see our commercial spray foam services.
